General Info:
Before the conversion we replaced the radiator, AC compressor, most motor
sensors, all belts & hoses, complete brake job front and
back, tie rod ends and wheel bearings, air lines (I am
sure there was more) and ton of chrome was added
everywhere. The truck itself has 567,221 miles on it.
We had Freightliner go over the whole truck, and it is
in perfect running condition. The M11 motor is rated
for 800,000 to 1,000,000 miles before a in-frame
overhaul maybe required. We added air ride to the
front suspension along with the air ride in the rear,
and this thing floats down the highway. We have put in
many 14 hour travel days and have never felt beat up or
worn out. |
